These Are the Moments Why I Travel
I’m currently sitting in a second-floor bar with a fully open side overlooking a volcano in Nicaragua. I’m the only one here (it’s 3pm, but I was hot and wanted a cold Toña, the local Nica beer). Returning to what matters
Life can move fast, and the energy around us can feel high. When our minds and bodies are constantly stimulated, it’s easy to slip into overdrive (and overthinking!) then lose touch with what truly matters. I've been talking about this a lot in my yoga classes lately. Where do you want to give your attention? What energy do you want to hold? Where do you want to release the grip and soften? Lessons on and off this yoga mat
I took a pretty amazing yoga class this morning in Thailand. I’ve been traveling for the past few weeks, and this was the fourth yoga class I’ve had the joy of experiencing. From California to Cambodia to here in Koh Lanta. I don’t want to say this class was the best I’ve taken on this trip, but it was definitely the one that resonated with me the most. I love taking yoga classes while traveling, especially in countries where there are people in the room whose primary language isn’t English....
